Kate Henry, pianist

Kate Henry, born and raised in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, is a pianist, a licensed K-12 music teacher, a music education researcher, and the author of an original piano book series for children, Musikreya Piano Books.

Currently, she is based in Tokyo, working as an independent music and piano teacher with Henry Music and Arts. She teaches private piano lessons and organizes bi-annual recitals for her piano students. The Philippine Embassy in Japan invites her to perform at diplomatic and cultural events. She founded the Philippines-Tokyo Concert Series in 2024, which aims to promote Philippine music to international audiences in Japan. She also performs in corporate events as a solo and collaborative artist.
